Carefree Real Estate

The town of Carefree officially incorporated in 1984.  The center of Carefree has several small shops and boutiques.  They are clustered on Easy Street, Ho and Hum roads and Sundial Plaza, all within comfortable walking distance of each other.  There are stores featuring and specializing in everything from Native American jewelry and wall art, to art collectibles.  Spanish Village is a shopping complex at the corner of Ho and Hum roads and has a number of specialty shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants.
 
The "Boulders" is a first-class resort located in Carefree.  In the town center of Carefree there are several boutiques and galleries, along with the K.T. Palmer Sundial, which is one of the largest sundials in the world.
 
Carefree is where the desert meets the mountains.  The magnificent cacti, palo verde, ocotillo and iron wood cover the landscape, and the houses are beautifully tucked in to the beauty of the town of Carefree.  More than 40 years ago Carefree was planned and established by K.T. Palmer and Tom Darlington.  Carefree has become one of the best places in the world.  Carefree residents are dedicated to preserving the quality of life and the beauty of the surroundings.
 
Carefree is more on the cosmopolitan side.  The residents of Carefree love the idea of living close to the mountains and near the creatively hidden away resorts.
 
Carefree is located on the northern outskirts of Scottsdale, Arizona.  Carefree is approximately a 30-minute drive north of the Sky Harbor Airport, and about two hours south of Flagstaff.  It is no wonder that the number of travelers, tourists and new residents to Carefree continue to grow.
